Bwana is a Swahili word, that means Boss, Master, Mister. This gorgeous boy seems to know the power of his name. Much loved at home, Bwana has a big personality to match his physical appearance, and has many quirks that make him one of a kind. With huge ring presence, our Big Boss Bwana has achieved his Champion title in 2020, after winning multiple Dog Challenge Certificates under local, interstate and international judges. In 2021 Bwana has won Best Exhibit in Show at the Golden Retriever Club of Western Australia Speciality Show and was back winning Runner-Up Best Exhibit in Show at the 2022 edition of the same Speciality Show. Most recently Bwana once again won Best Exhibit in Show at the Golden Retriever Club of Western Australia 50th Anniversary Speciality Show in 2023 with record entry of 82 exhibitors. We couldn’t be more proud of this special boy.

What a showman, he loved the ring , he was at one with handler and she got the best out of him. He oused quality! Handsome head with dark pigment, super clean, length of neck. Well laid back shoulder placement, deep through the chest, with plenty of heart room. Strong, well muscled rear end, with a level topline, which he held on the move. He flowed around the ring with ease and show presence- loved him!
— Mrs Suzi Golder, judge - UK
This boy had all that I would look for in a Male Golden, just loved him. Full of quality and breed type, and so well balanced. Beautiful head and expression. Straight front and plenty of depth through his ribs. Well angulated behind and moved out with drive. Beautifully presented and free shown in a gleaming gold coat. Delighted to give him the CC and R/up In Show.
— Mrs Wilma McFarlane, judge - Scotland
WOW a gold 5yr old boy who caught my eye the moment he entered the ring. He had showmanship...ring presence... matched by his construction, temperament and personality which shone through. He has a beautiful masculine head with a dark eye, dark pigment, good depth of muzzle and the most appealing soft expression. Good length of neck into well laid-back shoulders, good length of shoulder blade and equal upper arm and good forechest. Deep chested, well sprung ribs, good length of body, short coupled. Good height length ratio. Lovely balance. Good rear angulation, well-muscled, good width of 2nd thigh and bend of stifle. He used all his assets to move around the ring, his topline was level and his tailset correct and carried perfectly on the move. Presented in strong hard condition, beautiful coat and handled beautifully. A beautiful dog all round and a joy to watch. Best in Show, DCC and State Bred in Show.

A confident gold boy at almost 5.5yrs old, of good size and in good condition and coat, masculine broad skull well chiselled beneath with good stop, dark eye and rim with kindly expression, strong deep muzzle. Neck set into well angulated forequarters, straight front legs, deep through chest and rib, level topline and well angulated hindquarters with correct tail set. Moved with reach and drive. Presented and handled elegantly. DCC and Best State Bred in Show.
